This was a birthday present for my father. He recently came back from a trip where he walked across Spain, 25 kilometers a day. He said that when the journey had ended, he couldn't stop walking.

He walked across Spain? Literally? Wow! The perfect picture :)

Yup, he did The Camino de Santiago trail, a centuries old pilgrim's trail that leads to the city of Santiago de Compostela. Not bad for a guy who's in his 60s! He's in better shape than me, that's fer sure.

Personally for me the words are: Her shoes eventually stopped, but she kept walking.

i don't know why, but it makes me sad. as if his shoes left him. he must be lonely *makes sad face*
