Post-it note art

I did this series of post-it note drawings recently. There's something quite nice about drawing on such a small, humble little yellow piece of paper. Unlike a perfectly trimmed sheet of 140lb watercolor paper, or a freshly gesso'd and stretched canvas, there's no pressure to create a masterpiece. You've got a thousand post-it notes sitting on your desk. If you screw up your doodle, you pull it off the pad and start a new one. Maybe I will work exclusively on Post-its from now on.

I've recently discovered the love of drawing on post-it notes as well. When I finished cleaning my room, I had found slightly longer post-it stacks that actually kind of took the fun out it since they were so long and actually gave ample room to do a portrait. :/

I totally envy your ability to make art with post it notes :) I can't make art out of anything, heh, no matter how often I practice, and these are so fun looking & cute. I particularly like the underwear & paper clip ones in this set!
